vitamins for ur HEART!

This is my favourite poem. But i forget where did i read that and who is the writer. Because i read that poem long long ago... Hope u all will smile when u've finished reading. Here it is........

The Preservation of Men

The horse & mule live over 30 years;

And nothing know of wine & beer;

The goat & sheep at 20 die;

With never a taste of scotch & rye;

The cow drinks water by the tone;

And at 18 is mostly done;

The dog at 18 cashier in;

Without the aid of rum & gin;

The cat in milk & water soaks;

And then in 12 short years in croaks;

The modest, sober, bone dry hen;

Lays eggs for nogs & then die at 10;

All animals are strictly dry;

They sinless live & swiftly die;

But sinful, ginful, rum soaked men;

Survive for 3 score years & 10;

And some of us the mighty few;

Stay alive till we're 92.
